This first issue starts out in the subconscious of Lex. We see various elements incorporated from the previous adventures here. Cal and Carmot look like shaman, and Vodnar is holding an all-seeing-eye. In the background we see the Lex and Cal resemble sheeple, while Carmot hands Lex a skull he’s holding, which in turn is Lex’s own skull representing his thoughts.
There’s a theatrical (if not cartoony) battle going on in his mind to literally “kill everything in the room and get out” which is a nod to his MKULTRA programming. “Let me do my job for once” also shows how this training has been suppressed by the “good angel” representing Lex’s internal opposition to anger, fear and ignorance.
Dr. Percival Vodnar recounts the early days of Lex, Cal, and Luna–all mind control victims from a facility in Dignity Colony, Chile. The truth is also revealed about an assault on the global population through public education and water fluoridation calcifying the pineal gland in an elaborate conspiracy by “The Council.”
